1. 14k gold-filled is also commonly called rolled gold. It's an actual sheet of 14k gold stuffed with jewelers brass. It's a quality product at a great price.
2. Many of my customers are highly allergic to anything less than 14k gold and they wear the gold-filled without any type of allergic reaction.
3. It's NOT electroplate (misconception). The layer of 14k gold is actually 100 times thicker than electroplate and therefore will last years and years. Collectors have found pieces of gold-filled jewelry nearly 100 years old in very good condition. If you care for your jewelry, it'll last you a lifetime.
